The DJI Neo is back at $169 on Amazon, where the controller-free base kit was listed in stock with next-day Prime delivery when DroneXL checked it at 3:22 p.m. Eastern on October 23. DJI’s own US store showed the same price but was sold out, according to DroneXL’s current price report.

The Amazon price is 15% below the Neo’s $199 list price, but it is not the drone’s recent low. DroneXL reported that the same kit sold for $139 during Prime Big Deal Days on October 6 and 7, matching the lowest price it had recorded for the 135-gram aircraft. That earlier report also said DJI’s store was sold out while Amazon carried the discounted inventory in its October 6 coverage.

The base kit includes the aircraft, one battery, propeller guards, spare propellers, a screwdriver and a USB-C cable. The Neo can take off from a user’s palm and fly preset shots without a controller or phone; connecting a phone adds virtual joysticks and voice control, DroneXL reported in its October 23 report.

For operators considering it for paid aerial work, the price is only part of the equation. DroneXL reports that the Neo weighs 135 grams, records 4K video at 30 frames per second and has an 18-minute rated flight time, falling to 17 minutes with the guards installed. Its 22 GB of internal storage has no microSD slot, and commercial Neo work requires FAA Part 107 compliance and aircraft registration according to the same report.

The larger bundles have also risen from their Prime prices. DroneXL’s October 23 report lists the Three-Battery Combo at $245, the Fly More Combo with the RC-N3 controller at $295 and the Motion Fly More Combo at $449. Its October 6 coverage listed those bundles at $201, $242 and $369, respectively, making the current increases $44, $53 and $80 in the October 6 report.
