DJI has released firmware updates for four FPV goggles, with the latest rollout focused on bug fixes rather than new capabilities, according to DroneDJ’s report.
The Goggles 2 moves to firmware v01.14.0000, while the Goggles Integra moves to v01.10.0000. DJI Goggles 3 receives 01.00.1600, and the Goggles N3 receives v01.00.1300. The four updates require DJI Fly version 1.21.16, which DroneDJ says is available for iOS and Android.
For commercial operators using compatible DJI aircraft or air units, the practical change is maintenance rather than expanded capability. Goggles 2 and Integra support combinations including the DJI Avata, DJI FPV and O3 Air Unit, while Goggles 3 supports the Avata 2 and selected camera drones. The N3 supports the Avata 2, DJI Neo and O4 Air Unit series, subject to compatible firmware and controllers, the report says.
DJI’s latest goggles update comes alongside firmware releases for three screen-equipped controllers. A separate DroneDJ report says the DJI RC, RC 2 and RC Pro 2 also received updates, mostly for bug fixes; the RC Pro 2 additionally gains support for the DJI Avata 360 FPV drone.
The operating constraint is important for pilots updating equipment before a job: DroneDJ says DJI recommends recording personal flight settings first because values such as Return-to-Home altitude and maximum flight distance may reset during installation. After updating, operators should restart the aircraft, controller and goggles and verify those settings before flight.
